Family & Youth celebrated 40 years of serving Southwest Louisiana, conducted the annual meeting, and awarded the Humanitarian of the Year and the Youth of the Year at L’Auberge du Lac Casino Resort on Monday, June 28, 2010. More

 

Youth Action Forum Members Visit Washington, D.C.

Family & Youth coordinated a congressional trip to Washington, D.C. to support Southwest Louisiana youth.  The experience in Washington, D.C. exposed youth to advocacy work, civic engagement, and opportunities to make a difference. More.

 

Family & Youth Festival 2010

Family & Youth Festival 2010 was a huge success! The Lake Charles Civic Center was the place to be on Saturday, August 21, 2010. Nearly 2,000 people joined us for fun, games, crafts and live music. More.

The Family Foundation successfully launched eGala Online Auction raising funds to benefit programs of Family & Youth-Autism Support Alliance, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA),  Children's Advocacy Center (CAC), The Counseling Center, Human Services Response Institute (HSRI), The Leadership Center for Youth (TLC), Performance Employee Assistance and Business Services, and Children and Families Action Network (CFAN).  More.
